And the Winners are...

What a Day! The weather was beautiful, with nine competitors serving up delicious Gumbos and an amazing crowd at our 4th Annual Gumbo Competition! We have many to THANK for the success of this event, as nine outstanding Gumbo chefs/teams crafted their best Gumbos, and more than 425 from our Family of customers joined us or spread the word on social media.

Now for the news you've all been waiting for... The Judge's Choice Winner was the Swamp Water Crew, while the People's Choice Winner was Soulfrito. The Judge's Choice Runner-Up was the Swamp Daddies, and the People's Choice Runner-Up was Le Pub. Additionally, the Best Decorated Booth award went to Voodoo Gumbo! CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners!

Special thanks are due to A to Z Landscaping, Jarman Cap and Sportswear Co, and other local businesses for their help in promoting the event. We are also grateful for our families, friends, and neighbors both nearby and from as far away as TX, LA, OH, FL, MD, and VAwho helped in preparations, operations, and ensuring the competition ran smoothly.
